Our most awarded whisky, Benromach 15 Year Old is often referred to as our "Classic" single malt and is one of our bestsellers. A perfect dance between the cask influences and the subtle smoke characteristics.

After aging in exclusively first-fill sherry and bourbon casks for 15 years, Benromach 15 Year Old delivers cracked pepper, charred oak, apples, dark chocolate and forest fruits flavours with rich sherry notes and a touch of smoke.

A natural progression from our 10 Year Old, benefiting from the additional years of maturation in the finest casks. At Benromach we hand select our casks to ensure the best quality, which imparts important and complex flavours to our whisky. The dark amber colour of the 15 Year Old reflects the influences from the sherry casks which bring rich fruit and spice notes as well as more enhanced sherry.

We use lightly peated malted barley at Benromach as a nod back to the character of Speyside whiskies produced before the 1960s. This brings notes of cracked black pepper and soft smoke to the 15 Year Old.
