Benromach Origins - Batch 1 Golden Promise
The first batch release in the series is produced using Golden Promise barley grown in the heart of Speyside. Matured in first and second fill sherry casks, this full bodied single malt displays a rich, fruity notes, intertwined with peat smoke and soft spicy flavours.

Nose:
Prominent sweetness with heavy malt influences. Delicate orange peel note and some smoke.
Palate:
Initially peppery, becomes sweeter with a very subtle smoke in the background. Mouth watering and smooth.
Nose:
Initial buttery note, delicate floral influences. A prominent toasted malt note with subtle sherry notes in the background.
Palate:
Starts creamy and becomes very sweet. Heavily toasted malt influences with a very delicate smoke. Mouth watering and complex.
Finish:
Long and balanced.
