At Benromach Distillery we believe that crafting single malt whisky can be likened to making a jigsaw - each piece of the whisky making process plays and important part in the overall picture. Benromach Origins is a series of special bottlings crafted to highlight how small changes in the art of whisky making can help shape the character of the final single malt. Benromach Origins - Batch 1 Golden Promise The first batch release in the series is produced using Golden Promise barley grown in the heart of Speyside. Matured in first and second fill sherry casks, this full bodied single malt displays a rich, fruity notes, intertwined with peat smoke and soft spicy flavours.
